Collaborative Retail Experience Wins “Best in Show” at Shop! Marketplace

A fully integrated retail experience brought to life through collaboration between Dise, OPTO International, Visual Creations / Rose Displays, Bluefin, and OpenEye Global earned “Best in Show” honors at this year’s Shop! Marketplace.

Rather than presenting a collection of individual exhibits, the team set out to create a single, cohesive environment. The space demonstrated how digital signage, physical fixtures, and content strategy can work together seamlessly when considered from the start rather than layered in as an afterthought.

Built around the idea that “The Best Experiences Aren’t Built Alone,” the activation showcased real-world applications of integrated retail design. Visitors moved through an environment where displays were not standalone elements, but part of the architecture, enhancing product storytelling, guiding engagement, and reinforcing brand presence.

OpenEye Global contributed to the development of the content strategy and creative execution for the activation, designing a series of custom visuals tailored specifically to the environment and fixture systems. Each piece of content was created with context in mind, ensuring it aligned with the physical design, sightlines, and customer flow throughout the space. The team also helped align partners, contributing to a seamless, unified experience.

The experience featured a mix of digital touchpoints, including strategically placed displays within OPTO’s and Visual Creations / Rose Displays’ fixture systems, creative digital display solutions from Bluefin, and dynamic content orchestrated through the Dise IXM platform. Together, the partners helped connect the digital layer into one cohesive environment, enabling content, fixtures, and displays to work as part of the overall retail experience.

“We wanted to show what’s possible when collaboration happens early and intentionally,” said Bryan Meszaros, Founder of OpenEye Global. “Too often, digital is treated as an add-on. This was about proving that when it is integrated into the design process, it becomes a natural and powerful part of the experience.”

The booth drew strong engagement throughout the show, with attendees responding to the clarity of the concept and the seamless execution across disciplines. The recognition from Shop! Marketplace underscores a growing shift in retail toward more connected, experience-driven environments.

As brands continue to rethink the role of physical space, the project serves as a model for how cross-functional collaboration can deliver more meaningful, scalable, and impactful customer experiences.
