Underground railway stations: MTR Digital Panel Zone, Hong Kong

The Hong Kong MTR is regarded as one of the world’s leading metro systems with an average passenger capacity of 3.4 million per weekday. The rail network MTR operates comprises of nine railway lines serving both urban and suburb areas in Hong Kong.

Across the metro system a digital advertising network spread over 288 screens can be seen, covering the busiest stations. DISE is powering the screens and the media is operated by JCDecaux in Hong Kong. System design and software integration has been done by onActivity  the DISE representative in Hong Kong.

MTR Digital Panel Zone

The MTR Digital Panel Zone (DPZ) is a group of two-three digital panel pairs in near proximity, situated in areas between the platforms. The DPZ is configurable as an individual pair or in wall mode. The installation offers full HD advertising on each screen coping with the extendable graphics and is achieving a 6.000×2.000px content output. The DPZ was deployed in 2013.
