5 Quick Questions with Emilia Kjellberg
Meet Emilia Kjellberg, our talented developer at Dise Karlstad office.

Dise to me is a blend of friendship, collaboration, and growth
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Dise is friendship. We are a tight-knit group, and for me, Dise is more than just a workplace – it’s also a social space where I feel truly at home. I studied web development and joined the team straight after finishing my studies. Working here is fun, and sometimes I feel even more at ease at the office than I do at home.
One of the best parts of my job is working alongside friends I genuinely enjoy being around. The strong sense of community we’ve built reflects in how we collaborate on projects. The fast-paced environment keeps things exciting, and the variety in assignments means that no two days are ever the same.
A core value at Dise is “Dare to Challenge,” and for me, this applies both in and outside of work. My life outside of work revolves around athletics, where pushing limits and challenging myself is part of my routine. In my professional life, I used to be more reserved, hesitant to speak up. Now, I feel confident expressing my ideas and questioning how we work on projects when necessary. To me, daring to challenge means being willing to make mistakes in order to grow and improve.
One of my biggest highlights since joining Dise has been seeing my own work come to life at a customer site. This is my first job after completing my education, and it’s an incredible feeling to have built something from scratch and to receive positive feedback on it. Knowing that my work makes a difference for the customer is deeply rewarding.
What excites me most about the tech industry is its constant evolution. There’s always something new to learn, and there are countless ways to solve the same problem. I love the creativity involved in the work process and the many different paths within software development. From concept validation and design to coding, testing, and documentation, there are endless opportunities to specialize and grow. Being in this field means the learning never stops – and that’s what makes it so exciting.
