Dynamic loops give you full control of share of voice
Move from static playlists to dynamic control. Dise’s new feature brings adaptive, rule-based playout for modern retail media.
Starting in December, Dise will officially launch Dynamic Loops, a major step forward in how content is delivered and monetized across digital in-store touchpoints.
Designed to give our certified partners and their retail customers complete control, this feature turns traditional playlists into dynamic, rule-based playout that adjusts in real time—supporting both retail media campaigns and brand-led content strategies with precision and transparency.
What are dynamic loops?
In traditional digital in-store setups, content is played from a linear playlist—a fixed list of assets that runs in a set order. But as retailers increasingly blend commercial messages, brand storytelling, and local content into a single screen strategy, linear formats fall short.
With dynamic loops, Dise introduces a flexible, smart approach that adapts to:
- Real-time content availability
- Defined share of voice per campaign or category
- SSP-connected ad streams
- Filler content when inventory is unfilled
- Real-time conditions such as time, weather, external trigger and tags.
Whether a screen is 80% monetized or primarily running internal brand content, the dynamic loop ensures a seamless balance, without manual playlist updates.
“This release marks a shift from managing static playlists to orchestrating dynamic content mixes,” says Daniel Bloch, Chief Product Officer at Dise. “Our partners can now define how their content behaves—by rules, by tags, by strategy—while maintaining 100% transparency and control. It’s about unlocking screen potential without adding operational complexity.”
Monetize every moment, even unsold inventory
Dise’s filler content engine ensures no screen time is wasted. If content slots aren’t filled, the loop automatically backfills with predefined content categories — such as brand campaigns, local content, or storytelling — while preserving content mix.
But for retailers managing their own retail media sales, there’s even more opportunity.
Using AdConnect, retailers can link to a third-party SSP to dynamically fill unsold inventory with programmatic advertising — without losing control or compromising the customer experience.
Retailer benefits include:
- Full control over campaign rules, categories, and priorities
- Seamless fallback to filler content when space is unsold
- Dise takes 0% cut — all media revenue stays with the retailer or partner
This model empowers retailers to turn unfilled time into a sellable opportunity while maintaining the quality and control expected from in-store retail media.
Designed for Retail Media — but not limited to it
While Dynamic Loops are ideal for retail media networks, they’re just as powerful in non-monetized content. Brands and partners can use the same logic to:
- Balance national, local, and seasonal content
- Prioritize messaging by store location, audience, or campaign
- Keep experiences fresh and on-brand — even at scale
Whether you’re monetizing screen time or enhancing the customer journey, dynamic loops are designed to work with your strategy.
